When should I Book my DJ?

At least six (6) months in advance is the recommended timeframe.  However, we accommodate last minute bookings if your date is available.

What are the Payment terms?

A $100 deposit is due at booking to to hold your date.  The remaining balance is due on or before the date of your event.  Payments can be made via, cash, check, Venmo, Zell or through Paypal right on the site.  Taking care of your remaining balance before your event is always recommended so you can relax and enjoy your special day.

Are there additional charges for meetings, consulation, set-up and tear down?"

Accepted Answer

No way!  Packages are all-inclusive.  There is no additional fee for emails, phone calls, in-person meetings, or for the time it takes to set-up and tear down the equipment the day of your event.

Why hire a DJ instead of a Band?

1. Unlimited Music Library -- You will have access to any song you want at the time you want to hear it.  Bands only play the songs they know.
2. Value -- Wedding DJs are almost always less expensive than a band.
3. Space -- Are you alraeady coming close to maxing out all of the space your venue has to offer?  A DJ will only need space for their main setup and very minimal additional space for speakers.  Bands generally require a full stage.

Will the DJ play Requests?

Yes! Not only are requests from the Bride and Groom catered to for your wedding or other event.  We accommodate requests from your guests as well.  If you have any particular preferences regarding requests; we will tackle this is in a planning meeting before the event.

Does Salt City DJ only specialize in Weddings?

Accepted Answer

No, Salt City DJ provides your Entertainment for almost any event.  We bring the entertainment to your Anniversary Party, Bachelor or Bachelorette Partiy,  Christmas Party Corporate Event and more!

Does Salt City DJ book multiple events in the same day?

Accepted Answer

No way!  We do not double book events on the same day.  When you book Salty City DJ, you will be the only priority on the agenda for that day.

Question 9

Can we bring our own music for the DJ to play?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  You can provide your own music to be played at your event.  It is always preferred to bring this to the attention of your DJ before the event if possible.
